These pictures represent the style but not the fabric that you are ordering. Preorders ship January 9th. All orders will be made from Melon Corduroy.

I am wearing size Medium-ish in all pictures. Laura is wearing Small-ish in the grey print. Cristina is wearing Medium-is in the light grey knit.

I recommend ordering according to the size chart. 

The Design

Elastic, paper bag waist shorts with pockets. 

Wear these over leggings or tights. Dress them up or down. See how I tuck full sweaters into the sturdy elastic waistband?

These are designed to sit at your natural waist ABOVE your belly button. First you'll feel like you're doing something wrong; that pants can't possible sit as high as these. THEN, you'll start tucking unexpected things into that sturdy 2" elastic - maybe add a belt and a long cardigan - and realize that you can have a shape even under your snuggly layers. I have been wearing this style for a couple of years now, and I've yet to be bored of the possibilities IN MY OWN CLOSET. Old tired staples become NEW when paired with this high paper bag waist.

The Fabric

This fabric is knit, so instead of stiff, traditional corduroy, it's wonderfully stretchy, soft and velvety. It's thick with some weight, which means it hangs close to your body, rather than floating away from it and you can enjoy the coziness of the fabric without bulk.

The color 'melon' is right in between rust and rose - refreshingly different while still neutral.

The fabric is machine washable, and will come with a care label inside. I recommend washing only when soiled. And that can mean I get an entire season of wear out of a skirt before laundering. (Summer skirts I wash far more often than Winter ones).
