6 Month Anniversary!

If my finger counting is correct, it has been 6 months since I reopened my online shop.

In celebration of 10 years in business, I wanted to do something other than looking back. I wanted to move forward.

I opened my first 2 business credit cards, one for new flooring in my studio and the other for new equipment, fabric and supplies, all with the end goal of reopening my online shop, which happened at the end of January.

For 6 months, I've had orders in my queue. And now, looking around, I see that I have been able to grow my fabric reserves, and that my credit cards are being paid down on schedule. It's working, guys. It doesn't always seem like it. Maybe tomorrow I won't feel like it is, but today is a good day. Today my studio feels like home.

My studio after my new floors were installed.

The first day (in January) I worked on my new table in my new studio.

My finished studio in action.

I know you know this. But especially in long and trying seasons, celebrating milestones is so important. So, I'm celebrating this one! Thank you for coming along. For making my dreams reality! I love making you skirts and shirts and writing about my process.

XO
Mrs. Emily
