Leg makeup is ridiculous...right?

When a friend gave me a bottle of leg makeup, my initial reaction was "this is ridiculous."

It sat in the back of the closet for 2 whole years, until one evening last summer when I decided to try it out.

Here's the product I'm talking about:

Guys. I can't believe I'm saying this. It's kind of amazing.

You spray it onto your hands and rub it on your legs. It doesn't make you look tan, or really change the color of your legs at all. It evens your skin tone and mattifies (kind of like you put on really sheer panty hose). It barely changes your skin and yet, really makes a huge difference. Here are some scenarios where it might be useful:

1. Early summer when there is no tan to be found on your pasty winter gams.

2. Mid summer when you remember you're a white girl who doesn't tan, so your legs are STILL just as pasty as the first day of Summer.

3. Next month, when you attend that wedding where you're wearing that super cute dress and want to look extra special.

This morning, I reached for my new shorts - and why not, I grabbed my Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs and applied it just above my knees to right above where my shorts hit (also known as my thighs). It really made a difference. And yet, a barely noticeable one. Like, if I had done self tanner, they would look orange and streaky. But instead, they look like MY legs, just a little better.

If you are self-conscious about your legs; if you have varicose veins or cellulite; this stuff is kind of amazing and I think you should buy a bottle to give it a try. Just make sure you grab the right color for your skin (there are different ones, I have the "Light Glow").

Have an awesome one,
XO
Mrs. Emily
