My business is growing (and my house is falling apart)

Funny story, I held a 1 hour sale this week and in that 1 hour, the ceiling over my photography equipment (my dining room) began leaking, and was ripped out. WHAT?! So I was quickly moving it all to the side of the room, before it got wet. And now, I have to tear my setup down completely so we can rip the whole ceiling out and replace it, then repaint. 🤦🏼‍♀️

My dining room is my photo studio.

4 years ago this month, my daughter went to kindergarten and I started working every minute of her school day. I look around my house now and see all the projects left unfinished, and I know from experience I can’t finish them AND work.

My studio becomes more lovely, better equipped; while my house becomes dustier.

The ceiling over my photography equipment had a leak!

Here’s our choice, as there is too much to fit on our plates in this season: we have to choose to not stress about what we leave undone. We have to choose to mentally and emotionally untie ourselves from what we can’t get to. Because otherwise we’re spending precious emotional energy on CARING too much, which isn’t getting anything more done, just stressing us out.

There’s a hole in my ceiling, but my 1 hour sale was a success this week!
