I think about whatever loveliness I'm considering purchasing in terms of 'will it make dressing easier?'. My new striped dress does JUST that and here's why:

Finding the right swimsuit can be tortuous. It's difficult to find one that is flattering and cute.

Yesterday I did some online shopping, and found that the rash guard is OFFICIALLY in. A rashguard is that long sleeve shirt you wear over your suit to protect you from...rashes? Look at how J Crew is KILLING it with these rash guards.

They even have one piece suits (that come in regular and long torso) with rash-guard-ish tops. LOVE.

I was listening to this song as I put my mascara on and this line stood out to me: "You don't have to worry about a single thing, just let me sing to you." THAT'S IT, I thought. That's what I want my newsletter to be. If my blog is fashion advice, and my shop is fashion inspiration, then my newsletter is perhaps the WHY behind it all. I hope to, every week, sing you a song and alleviate your worries by reminding you it's ok, it's all ok, it may be hard but it's ok.

Each plant I buy looks really lovely when I bring him home. He then goes through a phase of wilting or drying out, as I figure out how often he likes watered and how much water he needs and where he likes to hang out so that he's getting the right amount of sun. And then, once we establish a rhythm, we're all good. He perks up, and I smile every time I walk by him.

My biz is the same. I've been tinkering for a year. And watching, and waiting to see...
