My friend and fellow fashionista (see her there modeling one of my caps?) asked if she could interview me for her podcast. It was such a cool process and the result is a pretty comprehensive overview of my fashion journey the last 15+ years: starting with painting Goodwill prom dresses; winning my internship in NYC; interviewing with Project Runway; becoming a mama; and coming back home to Illinois with a clear vision for my business.
The interview took place the week after my first home show, and the addition of handmade skirts back to the collection. You can hear in my voice, the gratitude for arriving at a finish line of sorts: making clothes after a long hiatus. And I have such good perspective on my journey and how each step led to the next and was necessary for the next.
